Bevan

Thank you for your comments. Here are answers to your questions.

1. There is not an option to install the product "in-house" although there is an offline version that provides access to data even though there is no internet connection. This provides you all the benefits of a cloud based solution (no in-house IT requirements, better availability, tested disaster recovery, and high data security) but also access to critical information even if your Internet is down.

2. Today there are firms of all sizes using or evaluating the product ranging from over 1000 users to the solo practitioner. Salesforce.com has a company with over 35,000 users from a single company on the Force.com platform so scalability is proven. The AdvologixPM app goes through a rigorous security, scalability, process before being published to the Force.com platform by Salesforce.com.

3. Yes it has been used in Puerto Rico, Canada, Portugal, Australia and the United Kingdom. Advologix.com LLC has also done extensive investigation into and advises their clients on the Patriot Act and compliance with data custodial issues related to the act.

This product certainly looks and sounds like it ticks all the boxes. With a background in legal practice and matter management I'm a fan of the "software as a service" model for a certain part of the market. In saying that, I can't recall any software that has really delivered on the promise (or perhaps the software/technology capabilities are only just getting there!).

In regard to this product I was wondering if you could answer a few questions:

1) Is it capabable of being installed as an enterprise solution delivered via a browser (ie the database is inhouse, not hosted);
2) Do you know the largest installation (number of users) for the product?
3) Has the product been sold outside the US?

Many thanks for the review. It looks one of the better SaaS solutions on the market.

Just want to say your article is moving. The clarity in your post is simply brilliant and i can take for granted you are an expert on this content. Well with your permission allow me to grab your rss feed to keep up to date with future posts. Thanks a million and please keep up the good work. Apologise my poor English. English is not my mother tongue.
